Oh, this is a very funny wine, friendly and enjoyable, excelent for party drinking, good quality at a good price point. On glass shows a dark ruby red colour, A very fruity nose with strawberries, blueberries, a hint of chocolate and licorice. On mouth, silky, balanced with smooth tanins a jammy aftertaste but short finish. Overall a nice casual drinker.

Medium garnet colour. The nose shows medium+ intensity aromas of tobacco leaf, baked plums, sour cherries and black pepper.
It is dry in the mouth with a bland acidity. It has fine-grained tannins and a medium+ alcohol. It has medium+ intensity flavours and a medium finish.
It is a good quality wine. It has a tasty concentration in balance with the alcohol. However the finish is not particularly long, and it doesn't show much complexity.

Oaked Kool-Aid. French oak, obviously. Gentle all over with mild+ good tasting strawberry cherry juice flavour. Light sense of candy. A nice level of residual sweetness – it feels sweet, but fortunately not cloying. Very light tannins with a nicely balanced level of complementary light acidic sourness far in the background, all of which are overshadowed by oak. Translucent ruby colour with nice juicy, minty aroma. You could tell people at a party that it's strawberry cherry wine and most would probably believe it while saying how authentic and good the natural flavours taste. It does, however, have more than a little of that chemical feeling to it, but it could be that it's just the way I naturally perceive Zinfandel. This would go over well at a high school house party when the parents are away.

Wish I'd looked at scores before spending $9 on this. Not worth it and not worth the name Ravenswood or the zinfandel name. Thin and manufactured tasting.

A nice Californian Zinfandel from Ravenswood. Fruity with aromas of vanilla, raspberries and some spiciness. Medium high acidity with well balanced tannins. Medium long, nice and fruity finish.

The wine has low acidity. It smells like plum, blackberry, black currant (cassis) and cherry. The wine finishes medium. It tastes like blackberry and black currant (cassis). The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has smooth texture.

Mild pepper flavor. Fruity. Mild tannins. Decanting milded the tannins even more and made the fruitiness stand out. I'd buy it again but probably not for a sirloin dinner.

Solid QPR wine. Blue and red fruits with some elbows to throw. Tastes a bit manufactured, but overall an enjoyable wine for $8. Can't expect much more.

Well made but simple Zinfandel. I remember past vintages being better.

More polished than the '14 Old Vine Lodi, but also with less complexity and character.

Appealing fruity cologne; dripping with sweet oak. Good for a glass but I wouldn't want two.
