Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Sangiovese (30%), Merlot (20%), Teroldego (10%) and Syrah (10%) Bolgheri blend. Dark (almost roasted looking) color. Bold aromas of dark fruit, leather and tobacco. Full pallet that features very ripe black cherry and ripe plum, spices, black licorice and tobacco. Hints of roasted herbs on the finish, which is a touch sharp and sour. Extremely full bodied. Give this one a decant and let it open up.

Tasted at a restaurant by temperature at least 3-5°C warmer then preferred. I still think this is a good wine - I know the producer very well and I liked the tasting profile of the wine. May be the temperature, may be the shift in the Satta's approach, but the wine seemed more mediocre then I remembered. Good red fruit profile, very typical Tuscany sweetness and whiff of herbs. Otherwise linear and rough. Would like to taste again, but cellar-chilled.

PnP. Let sit in the glass for several minutes. Aromas of Sangiovese blended with some more purple aromas. Some volatile alcohol. Smooth. Dirt. Cherry flavors combined with some darker fruit flavors. Good. No detailed notes.

May be easy drinking, but really solid wine that is developing very nicely at the moment.
