Based on my prior note and price point, I squirreled a few bottles away as cellar defenders. Popped and poured tonight, and the wine is extremely soft and easy drinking. Red fruits, chocolate, cedar, hay, dill. Still a nice tannic grip, but feeling a touch flabby. I’ll share with friend over the next year or two.
Good find for available everywhere wines. No idea about other vintages, but if this is any indicator this will be up there with St. Michelle as a grab at the grocery wine.

Popped about an hour before drinking. Aromas of plum, cherry, blackberry and currant. This has some wonderful flavors of plum, blackberry, currant and a touch of earth. Needs some time to come around but this is a wonderful cab for $15. Just needs some time to come around by on e it does it is a really nice wine for the price.

A nice, lighter, softer style of California Cab. Comes across as a "cool-climate" wine, with lifted, herbal-laced flavors. Red fruits, some earth and accessible structure. Not much length, but this is well balanced and well priced.

Saturated, opaque, black-tinged red violet color; black currant, tart berry, cedar, blackberry tea nose; tasty, savory, tart berry, tart blackberry palate with good balancing acidity; could use 1-plus year; medium-plus finish (Cabernet Sauvignon with "small portions of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Ruby Cabernet, and Malbec"; 13.5% alcohol; 10 months in predominantly American oak) 90+ points

The 2013 vintage of Napa cabernet is so good that even entry level bottles can be excellent with a little cellaring.

Needs about an hour to open up. Otherwise it seems thin and weak.

If you open this a few hours beforehand, the value proposition is pretty stellar. Good second bottle in, if you've decanted ahead.

Good smooth flavor, but not overwhelming. Medium to full bodied. Slightly acidic finish.
