Hmm, not a good bottle. Same basic profile as last bottle, but on this one the green herbal component was overpoweringly bitter, and it was strangely lacking fruit. I would be convinced it were slightly corked, if it wasn’t a screw top! What’s more, this is the first gamay that didn’t complement my crispy skinned roast chicken.

Very nice light bodied rendition of gamay - pure transparent musky fruit, with a spiciness that reminds me of a Tercero cinsault. Not as complex as a good cru bojo, but very gluggable and a perfect partner to salmon curry with herbs.

Light ruby color. Slight carbonation. Molleydooker shake first, let sulphurous nose blow off then quite nice meaty savory notes. Some violets. Sweet black fruit. Juicy acidity and no real tannin makes this ready to go within 30 minutes. Surprised how much I like this.

No formal notes. Fine, but didn't find it to be anything special. More reserved than I expected from a California gamay rose---fresh and clean but also rather uninteresting.

Apparently the whole cluster stripped out the color but Jeff says super palate weight (realizing this is Jeff).
Doesn't taste like Beaujolais but it does taste good. Super mineral on the back of the palate too.
