Opened for 2 hours.. Instant syrupy cdp hit of sugery dark cherry, herbs and pepper. Still actually quite concentrated and chewy, I wonder how long it could go 🤔

Wowza…barnyard nose has picked up steam from 4 years ago… Predominate to all else..purple fruit under the barn floor …. On the tongue it’s a barnyard raspberry, black cherry, nice tannin finish…good complexity…interesting ….but the barnyard persistence is a detractor…

Decanted at restaurant. After 30 min, very balanced with red currant, cherry, tobacco, cedar and toast. Smooth, medium tannins as one would expect from CdP.

Great pairing for rosemary-thyme-garlic crusted lamb chops, good core of dark raspberry and garrigue with juicy funky earthy deliciousness on the vanilla spiced finish. Welll done and likely peaking next 1 - 2 years.

Nice value bottle of CdP if such a thing still exists. Took to dinner, drank after a very porty and figgy nero di troia (aka uva di troia). Took a minute to regain balance, but this was, in its fruitiness, a decent follow on. It's somewhat hot, but holds the balance pretty well. Good with our chicken shawerma and good company. I imagine the second bottle has some life in it, so no rush to drink.

at first muted, but with triple cream soft rimened cheese the plushness and sweetness of fruti came out. never reached the elegance or lavender/garrigue that i look for in an elegant expressive grenache. veered far too the brooding and black fruit end of the spectrum, with muddy clay-like minerality instead of sun drenched.

Was the surprise of the night and the wotn for several at the party. Big blueberry nose. 3 hour decant good finish. First of six bottles to empty. Everyone loved it. Should have a long life, just wish I had another bottle to see where it will go in another 5 years. Very good wine at a reasonable price.

Reddish hue with just the barest tinge of brown.... Nose is cherry, slight vegetal, very slight barnyard quickly dissapaited, Some herbal... Taste is ripe cherry, herbs, minerality, with very fine tannins and good smooth finish... Def a food wine. Like it but not the best CDP but for $30 pretty good

Buried it by chance with lamb again - funk was much milder, tannins basically gone, creamy finish with an amazing core of raspberry.

Yeah it’s barnyard. Yeah it’s kirsch. It’s a pipe tobacco preserve. It’s CnDP and I like it.

Brambleberry, slate rock, olive tapenade, a touch of brett (subtle bandaid).
Palate is elegant and refined.
