Tried in the store and wasn't overly impressed but we couldn't resist taking one home to see what we might get out of this very 'California' style cab franc. Though surprised by the lack of green vegetable notes, we were generally pleased with the balance of fruit and wood. Fruit in check with present but smooth tannins and wood. Good weeknight wine.
