Deepish redddy brown. Initial burst of structured fruit, dried raisins. Tails away quite quickly having said that surprisingly with a bit of air the initial burst of flavours gets a bit longer.

Tasting of 4 Red Burgundy and 4 California Pinot Noir. Was a thoughtful ringer with rich fruit and a sweet/sour nose, good bacon, herbal taste, with a tannic finish. Fourth place, Group #4.
