Very interesting wine today - according to CT, this is the 3rd time I've tried this, and this is my last bottle. The nose displays ripe, in your face fruit, more red than black/blue.
The nose seemed indicative of a bigger wine, but the palate is more in keeping with what I would expect from a Beaujolais - nicely balanced, with decent acidity and red fruit. This was a spur of the moment purchase a few years back, but the wine has generally been interesting and I would consider purchasing it again if I ever ran across it.

With the caveat that I am somewhat agnostic about Beaujolais, this isn't bad. Nicely balanced, with decent persistence. Not overly complex, but it does work with the calzone I am munching on.

Popped and poured. Dark ruby color. Nose of cranberry, pomegranate, blood, iron and some herbal, peppery notes. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of tart red fruits and earthy, mineral driven flavors. Medium+ acid, medium tannins and body. Plenty of depth and flavor with lots of structure so this wine will continue to grow but drinks well now with food.

Maybe a shade or two darker than the Grand Cras; nose here seems a little "livelier", for lack of a better word, and not as one-dimensional.
More together and less severe/astringent on the palate, and without that dilute presence. I don't know how close one vineyard is to the other, but this seems to have more presence and complexity initially.

Open for business initially but seemed to get thinner and less interesting with air. I would let this sit for a few years and see where it goes.
