It would have scored better had I opened a couple of years ago. At peak but not bad. A lot of secondary flavors. The fruit is starting to fade and has more of earthy and musty feel. Drink up.

PNP. Cork perfect. Color is youthful, and nose shows fruit in abundance with some oak in background. Swishing this shows great balance….acid, light tannin and fruit. Sipping of course shows off the fruit but compared to last tasting 5 yrs ago this is much lighter on its feet and very enjoyable. This has plenty of time and showing no signs of age but drinking nicely. Drink now or hold.

PnP. Medium dark red. Cranberry, cherry, and spice on the nose. On the palate this is still quite tight but with good acidity and intensity. Surprisingly backward at age 6. Needs a few more years or hours in the decanter.

Eye: purple Nose: black berry, plums, mineral and spices Palate: sweet black and blue fruits and very spicy, a hint of warmth on the finish. Medium acidity and medium plus finish.
This was my first bottle from this producer and I found this to be interesting, seductive and quite enjoyable. I will have to try other vintages and offferings from this producer.

I thought this was lovely today. Really fresh red fruit with some fruit sweetness backed up with good body and depth. I think the alcohol is pretty well integrated. This paired really well with lamb steak in a teriyaki sauce with roast onions and salad

Totally delicious. Very aromatic in a warm climate California way. Succulent fresh red fruit and spice. Juicy but with nice linear acidity that keeps it focused. There is an inner core of sweet candied red fruit that keeps me coming back to this wines. Yummy.

I scored this 91 in December and said I will try and wait a year before my next bottle as it needs more time. Well I’ve managed to open 2 more and it’s still January!!! So this is very nice to drink. I’m scoring this down to a 90 this time as I just think it’s too simple. Very linear and precise and not terribly interesting. You do get the semi high alcohol (it’s 14% but it’s a Pinot and you do notice it). So quite sweet. Definitely not elegant. No way you are mistaking this for burgundy or old world generally. But it’s fresh and clean and bright. Fairly dark for a PN and slighter darker fruits than you expect. A powerful and flavourful wine but just a bit simple.

A little disappointing but I am wondering if this needs more time? This was the first of my 6 I’d opened and I think I wil wait a year or two until opening one again - or perhaps a long decent. I just found this to be quite tight and a little one dimensional. Fruit acid balance was a little off for me - a bit too much acidity which dominated the end palate. Let’s see how this wine gets on over time

Had this at John's. Really fleshy, so hard to pick out the notes that will be around in 5 years when we start to drink ours, but certainly smelly and very long. Good life ahead of it.

PNP. cork perfect. color garnet. nose shows mostly spice and vanilla cranberry. swishing gives more spice and acid structure. sipping shows good polish and med length tartish finish. this like some older vintages I have had recently is a little more extracted and less typical of pinot noir. still quite good

A little tired right now although so was I when tasting it, and the Zalto was not helping it out.

Best at the end of the bottle, so decant for an hour. Great nose and length; fleshy but indeterminate mouth. Good promise for the future.
Drink next in 2023.

Full flavored fruit, balanced acid. Fantastic expression of the fruit. A delight that we savored.

Still needs some air to open up, but just a lovely Pinot. Bright red fruits. Could still go for a while.
