Lunch at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): Lean and taut, with a slight green note that's reminiscent of the vein in a snow pea. Nice citric acidity as well, but the texture and complexity is on the thin side, making this not really feel like it's a proper grand cru.

Not quite as convincing as the last bottle I had of this a few years back. The nose shows a little more oak than reduction at this point, as well as some sweet yellow fruit and a bit of a herbal quality that actually evokes the nose of a Mosel GG. The palate is a little thin and lacks the right density and intensity of a grand cru. Nicely drinkable though, not one I would be too interested in aging for too long.

High on acidity and minerals, citrus galore, this is razor like wine - you can taste the anti-Parker, anti-Rolland Old World style, insisting on the sine qua nin of great acidity in wine; great treat to taste, memorable - and still very young. Thank you, Mie, for bringing this #CP

Tasted double blind. Poured a light straw color. Oh. Snap. The nose is so compelling with strong mineral aromas of crushed rock, star fruit, and lime. The palate gets blanketed with bright tropical fruits, lime-ade and minerals...and minerals...and minerals. So much intensity!! Laser focused acid. Fabulous balance. The finish lasts for several minutes...and you love every second of it. It comes across so young. A tremendous wine.

The nose shows a moderate bit of matchstick and reduction, but it's certainly not to the point where it gets distracting. There's a fair touch of white fruit on the nose as well, but for me, it's the palate where this shines. It's got a lightness that I love, but it's coupled with that hard Burgundian steeliness. Great crisp acid and power. This (perhaps not surprisingly) evokes a bit of Roulot to me.

I really liked this wine. Its a light gold color. It has a citrus smell and taste with a lot of mineral flavor. The body is light/medium and it has high acidity. I think this will continue to develop and improve in terms of complexity.

Elegant, intense, long. Maybe lacks a bit of complexity.
Drinks very well now.
