This is a really good wine. Spicy at the outset. Let it sit for a few hours, and it smooths out and the acidity is less intense. Knowing how little it cost makes it even tastier!

Popped and poured. Plum, cherry and tobacco on the nose. Perhaps a bit thin on the palate initially, but still a masculine style, but elegant. Cedar. Flashes of clove and caramel. Notes of iodine and soy. Coffee tones coming out after roughly 45 minutes. Much better than when first opened. Smokiness emerging. Getting noticeably better as it goes.

Starts off with a strong nose of berries and spice. A bit acidic but not overt. Would go great with a nice cheese. HOWEVER, let this sit for a day (you can put the cork back in). This turned into a smooth velvety finish that I find ideal. In short, you have two distinct wines in one bottle. Sorry for the lack of detail regarding flavor. This has a great QPR. Let me know if you liked it the next day as well.

Had another 2 bottles...This is a sneaky good bottle of wine. Be sure to decant for an hour to capture the layers. Overt tannins sometimes inhibit but not to an extent that would annoy. A great everyday drinking wine.

fine balance. Sneaky long finish especially for a medium bodied wine. Has the right amount of terrior this cab sav lover can handle. Add a point is you picked it up for under 25 dollars!
