Wow, I must have had a different wine than that of the other reviewers. This was a very good wine that had not gone over the edge. Maybe a difference in the way it was stored or transported vs other reviewers? I'm in Oregon - close to California where this wine came from. Opens ~30 minutes into a wonderfully complex and well integrated (fine tannins, lightly dark fruit - not at all jammy, structure, alcohol) wine. Explosive after open and lasts for entire meal (am having more tomorrow will see if it keeps). Structure comes up after ~30 minutes.

20 y/o Pinot that had been stored indifferently and was undrinkable.

Perhaps not stored well, hadn't gone bad but did taste a bit burned/oxidized. Disappointing after holding this bottle for so long...

Good subtle pinot that gave up its flavor reluctantly. Started to fade after 2 hours.

With Pork chops and au gratin potatoes. Clasic Burgundian style pinot from a mature wine. Beautiful label depicts medieval crush.
