Lots of fruit, but with rainwater aroma. Red and black fruit palate, licorice, medium plus acid, medium minus tannin. Chewy. Very easy to drink. Super fresh acid, and still loads of fruit. I’d say drink to 2035 at least…it is Charbono, so… Day 3 and holding on, but on second though, maybe not one for the long haul. Holds fine, but just doesn’t seem to exhibit the fun on the palate that would take this to a more pleasurable spot down the road. I’ve got one more left, so we’ll see. Lots of sediment.

Drank this with Tuscan bean soup. Complex, Barbera like in fruit and character, but also different. From California I have only had earlier versions of this and from Bob Foley and liked them both. Good QPR and versatile with food , antipasto or by itself.

Pop and pour on the balcony. Jenn's been wanting to try this since I mentioned it last year so her stop-over back in the Bay was the perfect opportunity. Plenty of juicy blackberry fruit and deep, dark extraction to be punchy and fun while cocktailing, though I usually prefer Kenny's wines with food as they always have a reliable vein of acidity running through them that shows best when paired.

Very Dolcetto-like, purple core. med/+ acid, dark berry, not peppery, but a high acid, cool-site style. tangy and fresh, jolly rancher. Cherry and watermelon.

Wine store tasting pour. Blue fruit, tart, but balanced, good depth, liked it enough to buy a bottle. Should be a good food wine. Will be interested to put it up against a Baebera or Docetto head to head.

Good, but a bit one dimensional, green and acidic. Still liked, great blue fruit, but a bit of a one trick pony.

Dark blue fruit. Blackberry. Raspberry. Aromatic. Loved it, great QPR.
