P&p; drinking well right away, but at its best with 90+ minutes of air in the bottle. Pungent, oxidative (in a good way), saline, stony, around a core of cool citrusy and peachy fruit, all held together by plenty of acidity. Delicious. No major change from three years ago; seems like drink or hold.

I was surprised to find this one in the cellar...forgot I even had it. P&P with kung pao chicken and fried rice. This one over-delivers for sure. Needs a bit of air and cool room temp. Slightly roasty, oxidative, kumquat on the nose. The flavor screams lime marmalade to me, complete with that little bitter catch on the back palate. Minerally yet rounded, this could likely go a few more years. Good stuff.

P&p at cellar temp. No noticeable change from when I last tried this two years ago. Great combination of explicit Juralike oxidization and richer, "California," peachy fruit and silkiness, all while staying fresh, juicy, citrusy and refreshing, knit together with good acidity. Some nice salinity develops toward the finish. Good stuff (although not for everyone) and a good value. Seems like drink or hold. No noticeable change on day 2 (stored refrigerated in a half-bottle).

This was my second bottle after a year in the cellar and I didn't get the oxidative Jura-like funk that I got in the first bottle. This was fresh and delicious. I wonder if this was an off bottle. J/k

I don't usually make a big deal of color - but this wine is a strikingly brilliant gold color in the glass. Nose is waxy, nutty, apple skin - almost a Jura thing. As others have said, there is an interesting saline, oxidative quality. Really different for a Chardonnay. Long finish - good acid that keeps you coming back for more. Day 2: this really didn't benefit from the air. Overnight it seems to have picked up a bitter astringency - like chewing a lemon seed.

Definitely smells nutty/oxidative. Had a nice lemon/lime element to it, but this reminded me, squarely, of something coming out of the Jura. Bright, fresh, & nutty.

P&p, unchilled (low 60s F). Smells terrific, very Juralike - fairly oxidative nutty/sherry character and at the same time completely fresh and vibrant, full of citrus and flowers. On the palate riper peachy fruit together with the citrus, with some silkiness to the body, all balanced and held together by plenty of acidity. This is excellent! Seems highly ageable, but also perfectly enjoyable to drink now.

Polarizing and absolutely fantastic Chard in somewhat of a Jura-esque style. Nuts, lemon, pear, stone fruit, cold cream. Expansive palate, med acidity and long finish. Enthralling, distinctive and delicious.

Much better closer room temp. Almost seems like a base wine for sparkling, guess that makes sense though. I really enjoyed this wine, other people at the table not so much. Definitely not your typical CA chard.

Seriously funky with an oxidative taste profile. Not sure if this was by design or a flaw. Didn't care for it.

Delicious. Oxidative apple note with lemon - lots of citrusy brightness. Clean on the palate with a long, expansive finish.

Other notes are spot on. Nutty, mineral goodness. Jura-esque and just fantastic.

Wow, not a typical CA chard. Deep, nutty, mineral, full bodied, some citrus, oxidative (but no new oak!). Great QPR.
