  • Pronounced nose intensity with lemon, grapefruit, mineral. Acidity is high and long finish. On the palate, I can feel sharp acidity, is like sucking lemon directly. Interesting, for this 2014 vintage, I bought it at $700 and the price had appreciated 4 times according to multiple sources from wine searcher. I cannot relate the price vis a vis quality.

  • The one with Bastards (ST Home): Flint, white peaches, jasmine and nashi pear leaping to the fore with beeswax, lychee and good amount of oak supporting on the palate. Viscous and rich with good precision, minerality and intensity. Lower than expected acidity on the finish - I could only imagine that the 2014 vintage helped this one out here because in a riper vintage, I am not quite sure if would have had equal amounts of intensity and energy.

  • One to avoid especially given the price tag. oak is prominent, i though for a 14 it came across too linear (though time may change that), and ultimately a little clumsy
