blind I guessed CD Perrieres. Very close to the perfect CC 2008. Very impressive. Elegant, powerful reductive notes but the popcorn is in the background. Love it. 99

Notably light in color, almost translucent. A reductive nose alongside some floral aromatics. Taut and intense, with prominent acidity, saline and crisp orchard fruit. The oak treatment was subtle. The wine's energy was impressive, and it has an amazing future ahead.

blind So different than The Meursault 2004 we had blindly half hour before. More reluctant, great concentration, a bit more popcorn and nuts but not that expressive, at least 10 more years. Too young, not decanted. 96-97

Decanted for one hour before serving. Reductive nose with citrus, yellow fruit, durian pie and petrol. Palate has very good intensity and depth with serious tension. While 2013 Coche is controversial, the CC is relatively closer in style to the dad’s wine compared to the Meursault. 93-94

Drank this with a buddy and his wife who never had Coche before but are seasoned wine drinkers and it blew them away. Just a lively wine that brings one in. To me lots of white and yellow fruit. Will. not get pulled into a comparison with the latest great Coche vintages because this wine stands on its own. Might have been too generous with my score on the13 Caillerets this clearly has another gear. 96/96.5

Starts off with some petrol-like reduction, pure white peach and green melon. With air it really gets going, oozing minerality and proposing some spice. It is so dense and chewy, built like red wine. There’s a razor-sharp spine and length to burn.

Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Very precise and energetic nose displaying mostly white fruits, pear, granny smith, lemon curd, a hint of kiwi, flint, cool mountain stream and sesame. Very clean and slightly coiled palate, cool, polished, focused, bright acidity and a long clean finish. This is a very precise and chiseled wine.

Ficofi Paulee- Small pour. Very reductive at this point with lots of acidity and minerality. 2013 is not a coche vintage I would seek out for.
