Has dropped out of its weird buttery phase and back onto saline and mineral overtones. Sharp acid with white peach, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle. Lovely expression of CC. All that said, given the price point you could probably find a nice burgundy clone from Sonoma for about half the price that would hold up well to this wine.

Still very fruit forward and “un-Burgundian”. Wondering if the first bottle was an outlier and this is the wine’s true colors. More Napa that Cote De Beaune. I like it but far from the typical white burg. Meyer lemon, peaches and honeysuckle.

Surprisingly rich and buttery for a white burg. Maybe a weird part of its development. Not bad, just different. Totally different than the first bottle that was all minerals and stone. Odd.

Bracing minerality with stone and sea shells, key lime on the back end. Holds up well against spicy food. Almost more bone-dry Riesling than Chardonnay. Still nice for what it is. Wonder if it will evolve with more time in the bottle.

A (Burgundy Grand Cru) Birthday Celebration (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Double blind in Grand Cru horizontal. Big and dense with apple and pear. Slightly awkward right now, this is the wine that made me think the horizontal was from 2014. Very good length, very bright finish.

Really nice white burgundy. Racy salinity and minerals with white flowers and lemon on the back end.
