I opened and decanted. First taste was flat and I was worried it was past it’s time. Two hours later it’s opened up beautifully. Very floral bouquet - smells exactly like a rose. Lovely finish. Tastes of currents, lead.

Medium bodied PN, with red fruit forward mid palate. Taste profile is new world. There was a sensation of slight fizz on the tongue, from mild acidity, something I've noted in many of Siduri's PNs. Enjoyable.

I have to say it: Siduri gives great QPR. I would love to buy this wine for Wednesday night NetFlix, but Siduri’s wine club is SO HARD to deal with. This send you one bottle of 28 wines so you wine up having to inventory all these things. If they just gave me 3/6/12 of everything, then I’d buy their stuff. They don’t so here I am. Sucks.

Popped (actually, unscrewed) and poured. Light-medium rose color, with decent viscosity. Forward nose, intense and fragrant. Good spice and rich cherries. Straightforward and lovely. Black earth, too. Candy-like element as well. Nice in the mouth too. Piquant cherry fruit is tight and focused, but plenty giving too. Juicy and mouthwatering. Really nice balancing act between acid and fat fruit. Mouthfilling. Sweet, lovely, persistent finish. Excellent wine now with the chops to last for years. 4-13-17-9: 93/100.

Not sure what I think if this - has some funk to it - definitely has the barnyard taste and aroma.
