Agree with Daniel in the note below. The wine takes a little air to show its thing. Nothing too complex but not over-the-top or overly fruity, either. Would slip this into a blind tasting and see what people think. At $40ish, would not buy it again.

Light bramble nose. Strawberry palate at first then turns sour cherry. Mild, leafy, vegetal undertone on the finish mixed with strawberries again. Finish is short and acidic.

Outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised. I do not know where in the Santa Cruz AVA these grapes are from, but they are competitive with some of the best from Santa Rita Hills and Santa Lucia Hills AVA. Clearly well made. I would buy again. Ideal price would be closer to $30.

Subdued on the nose. Just a slight floral note. Zesty strawberry up front on the palate. By far the best part. Adding oxygen adds sourness which is not nice, and the finish is not too enjoyable. It was a crime scene the second day: finish it soon after opening.

Nose: Faint. Clean mountain air. Overripe watermelon. Cool. Taste: Wild raspberry brambles, tart with a layer of earthiness that adds complexity without overpowering. Pinot-y apricot on the finish. Burns, belying the smoothness of the fruits. Hefty. Tannins present, but not imposing.

Great light nose reminds me of the ocean and clouds. Needs to open up a little and not be to cold. Great flavor slate, cedar delicious. Surprised that ct says it can age to 2035.

California Vacation (Sonoma, SF, Monterey); 8/5/2017-8/12/2017: Tasted at winery. really nice introduction to the lineup. light red fruited notes of strawberry and red cherry, with some floral aromatics. really nice dried tea note makes this wine. well balanced. impressive at this price point.

A Visit to Thomas Fogarty Winery (Thomas Fogarty Winery): This pours that beautiful SCM lightly cloudy cranberry red. The nose is wildly floral. Lavendar, dry soil, dried strawberries, potpourri, juicy ripe raspberries, pink bubblegum and a touch of of new leather. A drawback on ths nose for me is that the fruit profile is lightly candied. The palate is light and elegant with medium plus acid and lots of ripe red fruit. A touch of alcohol sticks out on the finish along with a bitter fennel seed note. Enjoyable overall, but not at all complex.
This is a really enjoyable Pinot Noir at this point - to my perception it drinks 60% old world Burgundy and 40% new world (fruity). Totally accessible. Decanted 60 minutes and the nose shows red berries, cedar, and ocean breeze/driftwood. Palate was additional red fruit alongside cola/sarsaparilla, earthy warmth, crunchy fall leaves. Short but tasty finish. Worth its $30 USD. Should drink well for a few more years (by 2019?), has pleasant acidity but not much of a tannic backbone that would suggest aging.
Very good.

High pitched and intense fruit notes with some floral notes as well. Has an acidic attack on the palate but of good quality and it complements the fruit that is rather dense on the palate. Nice personality on this entry levels Pinot Noir.

Cherry, orange candy and orange blossom. Light to medium body, not a long finish...seemed to taper off at the end.

Took about 3 hours to finally open up. Once it did it was quite tasty. Cherry and blackberry well balanced

No formal note, a well made pinot with some developing complexity, more cellar time will bring that out and add a point or two to its rating.
