Stupendous. This wine has a “wow” nose - sticking my nose in the glass is like laying down in a field of wildflowers. Lavender is prominent. In the mouth, it is smooth, soft, and round, with pretty (almost dainty?) fruit flavors. Unique. A bit of a revelation. Wish I’d bought twice as much. Lovely and so well enjoyed.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Light nos of black berries, a hint of blueberries and a dash of white pepper. Flavors of cranberries, rhubarb and raspberries. Bright acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

750ml; Decanted and tasted after one hour. Clear, medium ruby barely turning orangey at the edges. Clean nose, light intensity of primary cherry/cranberry. Palate is dry, medium acidity, medium- tannin, medium alcohol, light body, light intensity flavors of cherry and baking spice and very slight tomato-leaf-like herbaceousness. Medium- finish. Good wine, can drink now with aging potential, seems a bit shutdown so hold or decant.

Oops, unfair to score. Previous notes apply. I picked this out by mistake. Remains very youthful but actually in almost 6 months it is starting show character and complexity. The terroir is showing even more now and fruit more pronounced but remains too youthful to drink now.

As suggested we drank TOO SOON. Still evolving. Initial signs reveal great fruit and structure but balanced acidity and tannins. Howeer, this being 2017 I don't think you need to wait until 2020 albeit that is a reasonable start drinking date. I am persuaded it might resolve before that. Now this wine is thinner in style but carries a good sense of place and expresses the terroir more than winemaking. Good effort.

Lovely, very fresh, lighter style but still has elegant spice notes.
