Shared similar aromatic as the 92 Ramonet bm on the side. Grilled hazelnut, popcorn and carmalized yellow fruit. Rich and powerful. Good length. Impressive.

From an amazing looking bottle with a .5 cm fill, this wine had a deep yellow center with clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose showed lemon oil aerosol, apples, vanilla, and white stone.
In the mouth, this wine was very well integrated with lovely richness, firm acidity, and excellent length. As you might imagine, this wine kept getting longer and more powerful as the night progressed. Was 8 hours not enough?
This was a top flight wine at its peak. Those who appreciate a slightly overweighted vanilla/oak element might even like this more than I did. It will easily last 10 years in this condition.

Nice intensity here from these two bottles, but the amber color plus butterscotch nose are warning flags- on the palate this clearly well past its prime, despite the huge material.

From magnum. Magnificent energy here with a mineral cut and thrilling acid and a long, rich finish. What a thrill to taste pristine white Burg from the old Ramonet.

A fablulous experience. The years have worn well on this one. Sure it is old, but not spoiled. Has the indescribable palate of a great old Burgundy. The nose was quite luxurious. The color was dark but not too much so.

From magnum. Good intensity on the nose, although the palate has begun its decline. Not as vibrant as the bottle of two nights ago. 93-
