Slowly continues its journey towards maturity, nice and steady. Still a powerhouse but compared to when released the acidity is more in check and the overall impression more balanced. Dense and full flavored, equally good day two and three.

Finally settled down and become more balanced and approachable. Cherry core, gravel road and dried herbs. Precise and straightforward. Hard to resist the charm of this variety when it's handled like this.

Cherries, herbs, earth, ink, violets, and gravel. Very powerful built Barbera with lots of structure. Acidity level is off the charts, almost feels spritzy on the palate. Drinks well with food but too young on its own imo. Huge potential, will be interesting to follow the coming years.

A bit restrained at first, but highly typical aromatics of pen ink, violets, earth, black cherries and lingonberries. Piercing acidity, somewhat chewable extract, and 14% alcohol makes for a balance made for food. Improves with an hour or two of air. Tonight it went well with polpette in a tomato-based ossobuco sauce. We'll try and wait until summer for the next bottle.

Consistent with last note. Continues to get better and better, very good Barbera with funk, power and character.

No significant development since last bottle a year ago. Drinks very good right now, early maturity with some funk and polished acidity.
