This should perhaps be past its time but is really quite lovely. Some petrol on the nose now and a lovely golden color. Certainly more depth and restraint than the NZ Sauvignon Blancs. A bit of marzipan here and maybe caramel notes. Fine with food.

Labeled as 12.5% alcohol by volume. This was a medium-gold color with lemon and grapefruit on the nose. Sharply acidic but within my tolerance level. I find it pleasantly crisp. It displays much more restraint and elegance than the 2015 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand that was opened the same evening. I liked both wines for different reasons. This was nice with Chevre goat cheese and with Gouda. One evening I had it with breaded fish and penne with spinach, Feta cheese and garlic seasoning. It was rather nice with the penne salad. I had purchased two bottles initially and re-ordered another three bottles.

This lovely wine is a solid performer for the price. Drank over the course of 8 days and tasted as delicious on day 8 as it was on day 1.
