I can just repeat my earlier note: „Wonderful New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, tropical flavours with citrus notes. Not so much gooseberry notes like other SB. Very good QPR. Crisp and fresh...“ Excellent QPR, I got it for under 10 € :) Now it‘s time to drink thr last bottles !

Bright gold. Aromas and flavours of asparagus, pineapple, caramel, pink grapefruit, and herbs. Full bodied, high acid, XD (2 g/L), medium alcohol (13%). Long finish of pink grapefruit, sweet apple, and mandarin orange. Great on its own, good with my garlic chicken dinner. At $20 CAD, it's not cheap, but it's still very good QPR.

Crisp and lively, distinct grassy notes and a just a hint of the grapefruit flavors that distinguish New Zealand SB's. Not as pronounced as most Marlborough SB's I've tried but nice nonetheless. A very food friendly wine.

Pale golden straw. Medium thin tears. Lovely intensity aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, guava, lemon and green pepper. Palate has great body with flavours of grapefruit, lemon, lemongrass and some minerality. Acidity is borderline high on its own but acceptable with food
Used this to make white wine seafood linguini. I like flavour and body more than 2015 Villa Maria Cellar Selection, but acidity made it wash between the two. Viv liked this one the best so far.

Drank this at home with my spouse over dinner with cordon bleu, pizza and salt baked kampong chicken.
Clear straw yellow in colour, with a touch of gold at the rims. The freshness of this wine is impressive. White elder flowers with grapefruit, tropical peach and guava on the nose, with lush structure balanced by a long, crisp finish.
Secondary notes include some lemon, limestone, green apples, and mango. A classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
Balance is impressive although the wine lacks depth and dimensions. The punch from the fresh citrus is impressive though.

Tasted blind. Clear pale yellow with some green hues. The nose has medium (+) to pronounced aromas of jalapeño pepper, bell pepper, lime, grapefruit and green tropical fruit. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity and alcohol (13%). Ripe lemon, lime and grapefruit on the medium long finish. This textbook NZ SB is drinking well now but has the structure to last several years. This is a great value for fans of this style.

A beautifully balance Sauvignon Blanc with a lovely passionfruit flavour so persistant in New Zealand Savs. Multi award winner San Francisco 98 points top 100 wines Sydney Wine show along with a trophy in Berlin plus a list of international success this says it all and at the price ridiculous value at $11.00AU. If you love fruit overload, crisp and bright wine you will love this. More Sav Blanc for my cellar , I'm glad my wifes away as she says I have to stop buying this stuff. I rate it highly along with most New Zealand Savs, they just have the right soil and conditions to make The French version taste like water.

Screw cap. The wine offered a tropical nose of gooseberry, mango, maracuya, kiwi and grassy notes. On the palate the wine showed gooseberry, kiwi and maracuya flavours, with medium-plus to high acidity. It fell off on the mid-palate making it seem short, the fruit flavours than re-emerged on the aftertaste. A ripe, medium-bodied, boring wine that lacked verve and had a huge hole in the mid-palate. Not a fan.

Drinking very gracefully, great we’re on the nose. The city has mellowed someone. Still drinking very well I enjoyed it.

Fresh and velvety texture. Subtle with aromas of white peach, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Longer finish than I expected.

Way too much acidity and a very flat and boring structure in my opinion. Not recommended.
