  • Sound wine with lots of secondary honey and hay development but there also cut grass, Tahitian lime, and honeysuckle on the nose which is reflected on the palate but with a fresh zippy acidity that cleaned up the wine and draws you back. Nice wine that i would drink up but that’s a personal preference i think as I really enjoyed it but not sure it can get better and I just worry that it might become to developed.

  • (Bo's Bday Brunner + JM farewell - for now) [10.7%] Beautiful golden amber in glass. Nutty, oily, savoury nose, browned butter and honeysuckle. Creamy acids, banana, toasted cashew and hazel nuts. Surprising and impressive development, and drinking beautifully! Thanks Ben!

  • Looks great with a hint of green in the rim, even thought the body has darkened. The nose is just a little oxidised but shows lanolin and citrus. The palate is fantastic: luscious, acidic, refreshing and filling, this wine seems to get better in the glass by the hour. The 1/2 glass I'm having now is 2 days old in the bottle and 3 hours old in the glass. It's as refreshing as a Manzanilla! Drink up... or keep for future surprises.

  • A very subtle symphony of intensity and lightness, freshness and maturity. Full yellow with a golden sheen; green herbs, yellow fruit, custard, depth, a burnt aspect (normally associated with oak but not here), candied nuts (but perfectly fresh and not oxidative), dry, rounded but not mild, juicy, smooth but with nice bitters, excellent acidity and length. Drinking very well.
