Enjoyed with sushi this afternoon while watching US win vs Iran. My last bottle of this cuvée. Lovely Champagne, no formal TN but a fairly full-bodied and voluptuous wine, with bright acids and a taut and satisfying finish.

Great as always. Green apple skin, parsley, pear skin, watermelon rind. Became slightly red-fruited as it warmed up over the course of 90 minutes. Always a bargain.

Green apple, brie and biscuit on the nose. Palate is green apple and sourdough bread. Enjoyed it particularly as it warmed and opened--its beautifully balanced and the acid never bites even at room temp. Will be getting more of this.

Opened this 4th of 6 bottles, during the first night's stay at the beach. Beautifully delicious, with notes of candied lemon drops, tart green apple, a hint of seashell, some savory lees on the long and enveloping finish.

Almost a peach to burnt orange color. Smells of red apple and a high tones berry note. Fleshy on the palate, some roundness from the Meunier. Really improved as it sat open in glass and broadened a bit. Very good value.

Orange-tinged. Notes of red apple skins, yellow fruits, red berries. A fantastic wine for the price. Was perfect with pimiento cheese. Will definitely buy more when I have the chance.

4th bottle since visiting the estate in Champagne. This wine is very pretty, showing bright citrus fruits, some nuts and bread crust, a bit of chalk, and racy acidity on the long and enticing finish. Delicious, no DG date, drink now through 2024+.

Fine mousse, slight rose tinge to the color. Amazing aromatics of crisp clean fruits and minerals. Strawberry, key lime, peach, abricot, and a touch of sweet pastry dough. ever so slight yeasty component as well. palate is full on , creamy texture of mellow red fruits and red roses, savoury intensity turning slightly sweet on the finish. believe dosage is 7-8g but taste more like 4-5g. amazing value for the money with plenty of depth and intensity to the palate. tasty, perfectly balanced and crisp, with a very nice aromatic profile.

A pale tinge of pink in the golden yellow hue. White flowers, green apples, a faint hint of caramel, and chalk. The palate leads with lime, quince, pineapple, & candied ginger. This is just plain lovely...and such a wonderfully balanced bottle of Champagne. I really wish I had bought more...

Pear on the nose. On the palate, apple, pear, and notes of peach and bready yeast on the finish, with strong acidity and a medium to fine bubble. Excellent, and an excellent value at about $45.

Crazy good wine.... Out of the glass class; hearty toast and bright fruit on the nose suggest exactly what's to come in the mouth. On and on the wine gives. With fatty food, the wine cuts through and rinses the mouth the juice.

Tasted at the winery, several months ago, no formal TN. A delicious Meunier-heavy blend. Info from their website: Pinot Meunier (majority) Pinot Noir, Chardonnay. Grapes from all our vineyards (Damery, Cumières, Fleury-laRivière, Chaumuzy, Vauciennes, Hautvillers) harvested at optimum maturity, vinified mainly in thermo-regulated vats, the other part in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation not carried out, no filtration or fining. Resting 24 months minimum in our cellar. Dosage 7.25 g / liter

Popped and poured. Lemon cream aroma with a bit of yeast. Rich, slightly sweet flavors of stone fruit up front, apricot pit shows up mid palate and kicks in strong in the finish. Noticeable sweetness in champagne goes against the modern fashion, but when done right it can be very good. This is very good.

Musar Dinner (Tim's, SF): On the nose, lightly bruised apples with moderate intensity autolysis (brioche). In the mouth, this is slightly on the riper side of Champagne - feels 5-7g RS. More oxidative than reductive. Well-integrated flavors on the palate. Finishes with yellow apples and slight berries.

Chateau Musar Dinner (Tim and Elliott's Place, San Francisco): Opened one day prior to tasting. Wonderful aromatic nose with almost moscato level of peach, pear; palate is rich, plenty of white fruit, slight oxidation, wonderful density throughout with fresh medium acidity, clearly champagne in balance and texture; wonderful medium finish. This is lovely. 91

Bien sec et droit.
Les bulles sont assez fines mais
pas très persistante.
Bien sec mais lui manque un peu de chair.
Pour le prix c'est OK.

Pink tinged and seems full and very pinot - it's mainly Meunier - I loved it rose scented power.
