  • prune, "dirty" colour; lighter rim. nose: robust, pleasant, full of blueberries; quite sweet, but not too much; quite balanced; later some alcohol and tobacco. taste: fruits (blackberries and blueberries); full bodied but with medium (+) acidity; quite long with slightly bitter finish; rather balanced. Not overwhelming. Well done.

  • Good rich Malbec fruit on the nose, excellent ripeness here, not jammy, some notes of soy and spice also; smooth and rich on the palate - really very smooth tannins. This is a delicious example and has a very classy dark chocolate character on the finish.

  • Appearance: Clear wine with a medium purple colour.

Nose: Clean nose with a Medium intensity. This wine is developing.

Dark and brooding on the nose, slightly jammy blueberries and bramble. Quite floral; intense violet notes compete with light vanilla and oddly enough, white pepper. Round, ripe and quite aggressive.

    Palate:
    Dry
    Medium+ acidity
    Medium+tannins
    Medium+ alcohol
    Medium intensity
    Medium body
    Medium+ finish

Fresh and smooth on the palate, very ripe tannins and a lively acidity. Dark fruits take over and the finish is significant and tinged with dark chocolate. A well made wine.

Very good quality Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Can be drank now but has the fruit and structure to age and gain complexity for a further 3-5 years. At 22 euros a bottle, good QPR.
