Nice nose with lots of dark berry. Good balance of tannins and acid. Very pleasant and smooth. Given age still seems to have life and could go another year or so.

Opened, filtered, and aerated in the glass, drank over about 2 hours, served with BBQ ribs. Very nice Turley with some age - tart cherry, plum, fading hint of oak, slight white pepper, nicely integrated, medium finish, just great.

Opened at a party, along with a 2014 Pesenti, one of our favorites. This really stood out. Same dark purple color typical of Turley zins, bright, complex fruity nose. Big and full on the palate, some cherries, tart cherries, plums, spice, forest floor - more going on than in the Pesenti. Long finish. We used to find other Amador zins, they are worth looking for. And I will buy Sadie Upton whenever I am allocated any.

Day 1 with pizza. Red berries. Day 2 - a bit stewy. Day 3 - cranberries and red currants. Quite a bit of sediment.

On open I loved the fresh oak - taste and smell of cut 2x4s from Home Depot... became a little more bitter with air but still pleasant, simple Turley.

Still a bit primary. This needs another couple years, but already some nice zin spice and medium to long finish.
