Outstanding! Had it as an aperitif and it works with every canapé or dessert we could throw at it. Obviously, would be a shame to try it with a steak; but would work with spicy tuna.

Deep gold color. Peaches, pears and tropical fruits in the nose. Apples, pears, citrus, tropical fruits and hints of honey in the flavor. Very nice acidity, nice complexity, medium to full bodied and a long smooth finish.

Deep golden, slightly amber color. Nose of butterscotch and gingerbread, and pear. Sweet flavors of apple, apricot, quince, butterscotch, creme brûlée, an a touch of Meyer lemon citrus. The wine has a very pronounced acidity creating a wonderful counterpoint to its lightly sweet character. There is a lot of structure to this wine which will easily allow for another 10+ years of aging. Great stuff.

Dark orange; lots of apricot, aged kind of peach pit, honey, molasses, sauterne sweet. This was delish, but thought it had 20 more years on it than it did! (guessed '96 Quart de Chaumes). Probably b/c the color. Very good, but curious about the color. Could have been a storage issue that did not significantly affect the quality (for a '15 I'm pretty sure it should have shown brighter and a bit fresher). DD at Akbar blind--Loire Whites.

Really good, but this dessert wine should come in half bottles. No tertiary notes yet. Paired well with a spicy fish curry (and I was glad to be the only one drinking it, so I drank it all!). 11.5% ABV.

Agree with the observations of Oldwineinvt. The color implies that it’s older than it is. I fully understand that this wine will continue to evolve for years and years but it was super enjoyable now. Wow and yum!

Color: deep gold to old gold. Viscous legs Nose: complex rich stone and tropical fruits. Body/flavor: medium-full body. Very complex flavors of tropical fruit and warm spices Aftertaste: lingering
Bibendum Portfolio Tasting 2019: Floral, wax, lemon and herbs. Good richness on the palate, but controlled acidity sweeps through really well. Lovely style and flow.

Lovely, though not particularly complex. Stone fruit compote of Apricot, Pear and Peach. Silky, and wonderfully balanced.
