The nose greets you with hard liquor. On the palate, some hard liquor alcohol burn gets you started. Then you get the vanilla and oak. No sign of fermented grapes in this concoction. Not sure this should even be called wine, as it's more of a wine-like beverage than dry red table wine. What a monstrosity.
Dark red , oaky floral nose, not too complex, but balance with mostly black fruit favor. Unique with bourbon nose and taste which attract those like strong wine. Medium finish. 波本桶瓤的赤霞珠,这是第一年,15年的已经出来了。

Strong flavors of bell pepper & black pepper that overpowered what you could tell was beautiful rich dark fruit. The finish was bitter & unpleasant. Unclear if bottle suffered from any kind of taint which ordinarily makes things flat?

Color: Blood ruby red with some translucency. Nose: Oaky cherry pie with drizzled chocolate. Flavor: slight dark currents and bitter chocolate, but heavier on the herbal - green pepper, cracked black pepper, vine bark, and some smoke all on the front. Chewy, structured tannins on the middle and some heat from the alcohol content, but well balanced. Finish is a bit harsh at first (again, the heat) but mellows after the bottle's been opened a while. A good minute + on the linger. Full bodied.
Very impressive cab sauv bottle for the price ($16). This one is barrel fermented in bourbon barrels, as the label denotes, which is a growing trend. Never found this technique to do a lot for other bottles, and don't think that it impacts this bottle much either other than the nose, but regardless, one of the better medium shelf cabs from California. Not a fruit bomb, so if that's your preference, you likely won't like this bottle. Let the bottle sit 30 minutes opened and it's ready to go. Drink or hold.

Crowd pleaser red. Wife is not a fan of bourbon but said this was good. Dark purple in color. Legs not impressive. Nose was non-existent at first but came to life after it opened up for 30-45 min. Nose of sweet oak with a presence of bourbon. Flavor is flat but very drinkable. Good drinker.

Picked up on a whim at the grocery store. Simple cab. Nice aroma; can smell the bourbon barrel but not overwhelming. Black fruit with a hint of bourbon on palate. Short, bitter and rather unpleasant finish.

Interesting color in the glass Berries and oak on the nose. Popped & poured Cassis as well Blast of oak up front with a fruit finish Easy tannins that disappear to let the fruit come in at the end. Not much "bourbon" on the palate I see the appeal to the mass audience - not my favorite for bourbon barrels

Bourbon on the nose will a smooth finish. Lacking complexity but still a decent wine.

Totally didn't expect anything out of this, but it's actually really delicious. The Bourbon isn't out of balance, and adds a nice complexity.

I was nicely surprised by this wine, the bourbon prevails over the fruit but it doesn't kill it. A nice everyday cab

Surprisingly good cab! The bourbon barrel aging is subtle enough. Excellent value for $13!
