6 years old and (a bit surprisingly) starting to fade a bit. Maybe this vintage was less intense overall than some others, I don't remember. The wine is delicious - some of that meaty and funky Mourdevre goodness. Not a whole lot of fruit left. And the most surprising thing was that Buffalo wings made it seem sweet!

Always a pleasing rosé. Much like Larry's other offerings this gained extra complexity after being open for over a day. Seemed to gain a little bit of heft vs. racy acidity. Can't wait for the 2016.

Had a bottle earlier in the summer, and now drank this at the end of the summer. I remember I enjoyed the first bottle, but really liked this one. Lots of stone fruit, such as apricot and peach. Also had some tropical notes. Went well with Thai. Managed to get a magnum that I am now really looking forward to opening.

First Rose of the tasting is the Mourvedre Rose from Tercero Wines. Absolutely beautiful in color, completely different than the Two Shepherds and the Scalon Cellars. Bright, clear and light orangey pink, almost like peach or beige. Nose was coated with white and tropical fruits such as guava, white peaches, lychee, and some light green apples. So much going on but a lot more complex than just the clean fruits. There was also a slight dirty fruit side accompanied with some light wood chips and wet stones as it warmed up. Strong acidity with a crisp, tangy, beautifully tart and refreshing body. Started out with guava and lychee on the palate that definitely brought out some additional tartiness in the white and red fruits. As it opened up there were some slight savory notes with a little wet grass like right after a rain storm. Very refreshing. Long and lingering finish. Was a little tight to start but by the end we were very impressed! Cannot wait to try more of the wines made by Larry. Highly recommend and drink till 2022.
Consumed one glass over each of two evenings, warming from fridge temp to cool room temp. Served with a chill, this was a bit closed...it opened somewhat when warmer. Pale salmon in color, fresh pithy citrus and subtle strawberry notes, good acid, and a lingering finish. Quality material, although I will wait on the next one to see if it develops a little and opens up given a little more bottle time.

Agree 100% with BRETROOKS' first note -- pretty tight when cold and becoming more expressive as it warms to room temp. First impression is that it's not on the level of the previous few vintages, but it's too early to really tell at this point. Will wait a bit to open the next bottle.

Losing a bit of steam, but in the moments where it was at its best it was fantastic still.

Fading fast but still with a fresh, crisp acidity.
Fruit has waned, so drink now!

Delicious, as always. Definitely does better warmer than fridge temperature. Earthy and a bit funky. It will be great to see how these age.

Excellent welcome to Yosemite with this nice and cold from the cooler. Earth and berries. Even better the second day, as this wine often is.

Group loved this. Gone too fast for formal notes.

This has been picking up some weight with each successive bottle and is drinking wonderfully right now.

Delicious. Strawberries, watermelon, earth, herbs. Everything I like about this wine is repeated this vintage.
