Nice red fruit and garrigue with a lot of bottle-aged spiciness, held together by woody tannins and good acid. Long finish. Well made and ready to go, if you like them aged.

Enjoyable and good QPR. Starts with bright red fruit on the nose and a hint of black pepper, flavors of dark fruit (plum), spices, and black pepper. Reasonable length on the finish. Not overly complex or savory but still good. Don't see any improvement happening. Drink in the mid term.

This is in a good place. Red fruit on the nose. Palate is a little more complex, with a dark fruit undertone. Just a touch of spice, enough to keep it interesting. Mellow tannins and a decent finish. Seems like it's at its peak, so no need to wait.
Good value for the $26 I paid at Last Bottle.

My last of 4 bottles that I purchased from Garagiste. My previous bottle was 2 years ago, and I really enjoyed it. But this bottle seemed over the hill with the fruit tasting stewed. No rating.

PnP Very healthy wine. Dark garnet with a light rim. Rich aroma of raspberry extract. I believe 95% of the fruit comes from Horse Heaven Hills AVA so don't expect Rocks funk.. Medium+body. On the palate, raspberry fruit with white pepper notes. Darker notes of black fruit from 25% Mourvedre. Drinks well on initial pour but comes into its own at the half-hour mark. Finish has an interesting mint note.

90 min decant and it was singing in the glass all night long. Last Bottle offering. 5 Star QPR. Grenache dominant nose with red raspberry, licorice, currants, and a little Rocks funk. Very nice satsuma orange finish.

Nose is muted, but shows raspberries and thanksgiving herbs. Palate is slightly warm with a bit of peppery spice, but shows nicely throughout the long mouth with crushed raspberries. Moderate acidity. Low tannins. Light and very drinkable.
UPDATE: Day 2. Nose is more open. Cherries, raspberries, floral notes. Palate is still heavy on the crushed raspberries, but there is some showing of candied black cherries and a hint of balsamic. A bit of river rock? Less peppery. Still quite long.
Day 3. There won't be any day 3. It's gone. Too good to sit another day.

Fun, bright, Grenache-based blend. It took a good hour decant for it to show its true face, but when it did, it was a knock-out. Forward cherry fruit interlaced with spice (Grenache white pepper, anise, smoke) and a nice amount of umami. In the mouth, the wine is velvety soft, lush and silky. Hints of bacon, some olive tapenade and more dark cherries lead into a nice long finish. This is an impeccable wine.

Give it some time to breathe. We decanted it for 30 minutes before first sip and it got better over the next 30. Kind of petrol on the nose...plenty of fruit and then, the most exciting part, was on the long, long aftertaste...licorice! clear as a bell.

Fruit not as dominate, now. More balanced than before. This is similar to, and as good as, any CdP I’ve had. Simply fabulous.
2/6/2018 Note: Good gawd allmeaty! That’s some amazing mouthful o’ flavor. It might be categorized as a fruit-bomb because of the explosion in the mouth, but the acid and solid structure make it an elegant wine, too. From the first taste, both S & I wanted to hog the whole bottle. 95 pts.

Opened but not decanted at a NYC restaurant with my wine group. This always seems to be better tasting than its price point would indicate. Given that about half of my ten person group had this as their WOTN, I may be shorting it a point. This would match up well with my favorite under $50 bottles of CdP.

This GSM is quite nice in both wine quality and price. Just another reason why I like exploring the Pacific Northwest.
Still needs some time in a decanter or glass but the red fruits, mineral and earth flavors emerge nicely. Great balance and layers of complexity completes the wine.

Did not enjoy paired with beef tenderloin and bone marrow. Did not have a chance to decant; may have improved substantially given adequate time. Seemed out of balance to me; not enough acidity, too much fruit. Would not select again

Wonderful blend, the lip-smacking acidity of the Grenache is balanced by the substantial Mourvèdre in this wine, which adds low-end depth and a slight butterscotch note. Really nice on its own or with poultry.

Had this with my wine group at a Turkish restaurant. It was a great match for the food. Enjoyed by all, about half of us had it as their WOTN. A blend of 70% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, 5% Syrah. Medium+ length finish.

91-92: big, dense GSM blend, nice notes of garrigue without too much herbaceousness. Really well done with a decent finish. Room to evolve.
Day 3: wine definitely showing more of the Mourvèdre, with prominent notes of blue fruit, steeliness, and a bit of an alcoholic bite that blew off pretty quickly.
