Appearance: Intense golden tawny colour, very light and fine sediment. Nose: Silky, with rich buttery and creamy notes on the nose. Palate: Light bodied, off dry and fresh on the palate. Notes of apple and pear with an earth aftertaste. Conclusion: For 26 years and stored in less than perfect conditions (glass walled and light filled room) this wine was surprisingly enjoyable and unspoiled.
