Is this supposed to be an orange wine? This bottle and the last both were, so not sure if they are flawed or not. This one tasted fine, but probably not how it should. Caramel, chartreuse, dark melons etc.

Lemony with pure orange in the mid-palate, and a chalky/phenolic finish. The acids are very bright, providing a stark contrast to the drying chalkiness. Interesting wine, if not my favorite style.

Light golden color. Right out of the gate this showed tremendously. Nose of golden pear and apple, lemon, honeysuckle with some crushed powdery rock. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of bright orchard fruit and citrus with a nice mineral streak all wrapped up in a smooth, silky mouthfeel with medium+ to high acidity. Absolutely killer wine. Will rebuy for sure.

Warm yellow. Clean light nose of honey, lemons and dry grass. Electric core of fruit on the palate, vibrant acids, lingering finish. A brilliant, exciting wine, pure sunlight. 50 + 16 + 16 + 9.

Matthiasson tasting with Steve & Jill Matthiasson (Matthiasson Vineyards): Tasted at the vineyard with Steve & Jill. This was a really fun wine - very bright acidity that produced a really juicy sensation- almost lemony with a gravelly/minerally finish. I don't drink a lot of white wine, but if I did this is the type I would prefer. This one I think was only made available to wine club members.

Pretty sure it was flawed from the cork, color, and taste.

Super enjoyable. Nose of pear and maybe frybread? Lemon and sourgrass on the palate with a bit of peach. This is so nicely balanced and delicious.
