Christmas Eve dinner, with prime rib. Opened and decanted for about 2 hours before dinner and it was absolutely perfect. The cork bork on me and lots of sediment, but that is the only flaw. Probably one of the best wines I've ever had. Hard to tell it is from Napa, very old world in style. Saveory, without any jammy or vanilla notes whatsoever. Graphite, cedar, tobacco and dark chocolate on the nose. I only had a glass and a half, and I'm kind of wishing I hoarded the entire bottle for myself.

Classic cassis nose, and a soft palette of blue and black fruit, fine tannins, balanced acidity and medium finish. Beautiful Napa cab, drinking in its prime. Surprisingly, needed little air, was delicious right after opening.

Not complex, but very well integrated. Smooth, lovely black and blue fruit, but not overly developed. Still has another 2 years ahead of it. Less spectacular than prior bottle.

Beautiful wine. Not overly complex, but very well integrated. Smooth, lovely black and blue fruit, but not overly developed. Still has another 5 years ahead of it. Very pleased with it.

Wine Spectator Grand Tour (Las Vegas): Very bordeaux like in structure and nose. Earth tobacco with some red fruit. Obviously decanted so the tannins were tamed. Id imagine it was quite large before decanting. Just not my style but I can appreciate the minerality in the "Terroir".

Well balanced and finessed. Lacks the concentration that you would hope for, but the fruit flavors are classic. Pleasant finish.

This wine was fantastic. It is ready to drink, full bodied and smooth. A classic expression of this wine.

Excellent and earthy. Cinnamon & nutmeg on the nose, opened up quite nicely over time.
