Very good wine with red fruit, dark cherry and some spices. Worth drinking now if you like brighter, fruit forward Napa Cabs. Tannins are pretty well integrated and smooth. Good for the price. Pairs well with filet or good burger.

Decanted half the bottle and allowed to breathe for 30 mins. Notes are from the balance of the bottle, 2 hrs after opening. Nose is fairly nondescript, with black tea and must in the background.
Medium light weight; black pepper, spice, tart blackberries. While the favors linger for 10-15 seconds, it’s the spice rather than rich or lush layering. All in all, still enjoyable w burgers; drink by 2022-3

Dark red/purple color. Very fragrant upon opening. Nice nose. Hints of cherry and vanilla on palate. Very good wine that pairs wonderfully with grilled beef and also stand-alone the second day.

Great Napa blend. Excellent as a PnP without food. The nose is gorgeous—very floral and aromatic. On the palate ripe cherries and nice oaky vanilla finish (in a good way). Amazing value and would go with any food.

solid Napa cab. great balance, finish full 30 sec plus. decanted 1.5 hours and still could have used more time. hour 3 was humming. will let remaining bottles rest a few more years. great value for under 40$

Decanted x1+ hour. Paired w tri tip n leftover turkey. Aromatics mid 90s, palate a youthful but disjointed mid 80s, Cali bord blend. Feels like it needs some time to incorporate. Chunky tannins.

Easy drinking, pop and pour. Creme de cassis, toasted oak, vanilla/candy sweet finish. A crowd pleaser that lacks complexity and soul. Nevertheless, I won't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

Lighter than I thought it would be. Very vibrant, nice acidity on this one. A great burst of red fruit. Smooth feel. Juicy tannins. Nose was a little shy. Palate very expressive. Am going to go back and buy another bottle.

PnP off a restaurant list. Surprisingly open with very limited time in the glass. Full bodied with ripe fruit dominating. I agree that there is influence from the Cab Franc but not of a vegetal nature. Seemed to start to fall apart after the bottle (not decanted) was open for 90 minutes.

Wine Institute of California Tasting (Hotel Radisson Blu, Amsterdam Airport, NL): Tasting, brief note. A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. Quite a strong vegetal note from the Cabernet Franc, spice, hint of surmaturité, light structure, approachable palate, slighty drying on the finish.

Drank as pop and pour. Approachable now but a little sharp and tannic. Medium to heavy concentration on the palate of ripe black fruit, sweet red fruit, vanilla, and baking spice. Lots of complexity buried under tannin. Needs long decant or a couple years on the bottle. Well made and a nice balanced style.

Well balanced dark red fruit, tannins, spice ( a little cinnamon in the mix) and a long spicy dry finish. A very tasty and delightful bottle of wine.

Agree almost exactly with Francophile. Cassis, oak, soft, plush and semi sweet. Decent blend but lacks any wow factor. Not the best QPR.
