Pop n pour. GREAT cherry/berry aroma. Smooth/resolved tannins. A bit of mouth puckering acidity. Really nice. Not as marvelous as the first bottle, but still very nice.

Really enjoyed this wine. Seems to be in a really good spot right now where things are starting to integrate nicely but it's still somewhat voluptuous, giving it great body and texture.

The color is medium garnet. The nose gives cherry, red plum, cranberry, herbs, licorice and tobacco. A hint of balsamico. The palate is smooth and rounded. Red ripe fruit, a bit of oak spice and a bit meaty. Medium+ acidity Medium tannin Medium+ alcohol Medium+ finish

Perfect right now I think. Little to no tannins, smooth but quite bold at 15,5% alcohol. I would not wait any longer to drink. PS open a couple of hours before consuming

PnP. I'm in the over 90 camp. This ticks a lot of boxes for me. Beautiful full, rounded nose with a mix of fruit, leather, and tobacco. It doesn't have Bdx stank but it's quite inviting. Same on the taste as it's the dance between acid tang and luscious fruit that keeps this one singing. Nice finish. Second half of bottle on day 2 showed similarly; a little more nose but still balanced on the taste. Dual threat with or without food. I'd drink now even if it would keep a couple more years. Dangerously tasty.
Thanks Michael and Cindy!

Decantato 2 ore. Tanto alcool estremamente invadente, anche quando rinfrescato. Forse una bottiglia cotta. Dopo qualche giorno un po’ piu’ approcciabile e complesso. Non il mio tipo di vino.

The timing for drinking this bottle was just right, wonderful floral aromatics, nice light fruit on the palate, well balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable.

The shy nose offers glimpses of spiced blackberry and earth. It's medium-full bodied with smooth, fine tannins and nice aroma replays. Acids are very good and the finish length is excellent.

Moins complexe et accompli que le 2010 mais plus facile et accessible en ce moment. Nez sur le goudron, l`anis et les prunes. En bouche, texture soyeuse, prunes et cerises noires avec un peu d`herbes et d`épices. Assez long et persistant.

Pale garnet. The nose shows medium+ intensity aromas of dark cherries, dark plums, lavender, black tea and hints of cedar.
The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has medium+ fine-grained tannins and a high slightly warm alcohol. It has a full body and medium+ intensity flavours. The finish is medium+.
It is a very good quality wine. It has a good balance between flavour concentration, acidity and alcohol and a persistent finish. However a better example of this style would show more complexity.

While interesting and enjoyable to drink, this highly polished wine ultimately presents little in the way of terrior or typicity and ultimately comes across as a highly stylised, fairly generic wine firmly rooted within the modernist/internationalist style. The wine is too dark, too oaky, and too inky to convey any impression of honest sangiovese. If this wine were from Bordeaux, I could easily be much more enthusiastic about it. It would make a balanced, well-made, elegant Bordeaux, yet as Brunello it's ultimately unsuccessful. If you're looking for a well-made, well-priced, generic tasting wine, then look no further.

San Felice & Campogiovanni Tasting (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Darker color and much more advanced than the 2012 though clean and drinking well, ripe and luxurious mouthfeel, developed and ready to drink.

Pales in comparison to the 2012, leaner style, fairly herbal, red fruited. Ok.
