Decent everyday wine, medium bodied, clearly mature. Not worse than 2005 or 2009. I doubt, however, if this will last until 2030. Will drink my remaining >12 bottles in the near future.

Great price to quality ratio! The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, prune, forest floor, light toast, black pepper, tobacco and meaty.

Intense dark red colour. Dark Merlot-Plum fruit nose. Taste of light mocca, black fruits. Perfect to drink now or in the next 5 years.
Next bottle in May 2023: Ripe Bordeaux perfect to drink now. Needs 2h to open. It is still a good Bx but the fruit is gone. This is a ripe Merlot driven Medoc. Perfect pairing to beef-pasta or (not spicy) BBQ. 14% alc. Still perfect now.
April 2024: Still a fantastic Medoc. Perfect ripe. Light coffee barrique driven structure. Perfect to drink during 2024. Excellent, modern Bordeaux-Red at this price level. Fun wine.

Second of 24 bottles. Fine CB. Still a bit too young even after decanting. Good QPR at 13€/bottle. What (same or better) quality do you get for the money perhaps in other AOC ?

Max. 84 Punkte.

Good nose with blackberry and blueberries and some earth. Needed a little time to open up.. Best after 1 hr. Similar fruit on the palate. Nice but ultimately forgettable.

Hoped for a good showing, cause this CB should deliver better as some GC young, NOPE; really strong tannin bite, the barrel treatment still in the foreground, hidden but indicated tasty fruit, not opening while slow oxing in a big Bordeaux glass, so you have to wait, very different showing from other recently tasted 2015 left bank Bordeaux, hope for the best! *(*-***-?)

Worthless. Herbaceous, tart and stemmy. What little fruit there is falls off at the end and all you are left with is alcohol. There is nothing worse than lousy Bordeaux.

I have mixed feelings about this wine. At times I have found it heavy, oaky and over extracted. Others I have congratulated myself for buying a great value wine so full of substance. Maybe I should leave these to settle, though not for too long as this is clearly meant to be drunk young.

Trade Tasting: Has aromas of blueberries, plums, cassis, cedar and raspberries. Its medium bodied longilinear yet spherical, firm and elegant flowery blue fruits and oak hints palate has good acidity. Ends with excellent length and freshness. 14%. Near Cru Classe level. Under 20 Euros. This is like a mini Margaux wine. This is a couple of hundred meters from where Margaux starts. Could be laid down 5-10 years.
From a split bottle. Six months since my previous TN have passed and this tiny gem shines even brighter. Just a beautiful combination of medium-bodied elegance with 2015-Southern Medoc-heft as well as perfumed sweetness with some leafy, earthy complexity. Equally good for cellaring and drinking. A lot of Bordeaux for the money.

Retailer Tasting. Medium to dark ruby in colour. Ripe fruit and plenty of oak on the nose. Similar on the palate, ripe red and dark fruit and plenty of oak, with good acidity, firm tannin and good to very good length. Needs 5+ years.

Medium bodied, with juicy, sweet ripe fruits, soft, polished tannins and an oaky presence in the finish, this should be better if the oak merges a bit better into the wine.
Only very brief impressions: Another 2015 with a great QPR. Quite dark translucent colour, in the mouth medium bodied, fresh and precise. Fruity and with a touch of french oak. Highly enjoyable and unmistakenly Bordeaux. Still strong on day three, adding some depth to the aromatics.

Oaky, with sweet cherries and licorice that are easy to find, the wine is medium bodied and forward, with a hint of cocoa along with the dark red fruits in the finish. This is a wine you can drink early. 87 - 89 Pts

Plum and mint on the aroma and palate. Tannins are medium. Acidity is medium-high. Body is medium. Overall, this is a good wine for under $20.
