  • To the nose, honey and peach, with very slight eucalyptus. On the palate, honey, white peach, and peach with slight papaya, apricot and pear. Moderate length and roundness in mouthfeel for an albarino. Good minerality. Does seem very slightly heavier than prior years. Very good overall and one of our favorites from Cooper/Fifty-third.

  • Similar to previous vintages (great! apricot and peach predominate) but not quite as sharp as it warmed while being out at room temperature while drinking it. Will see if the remaining two bottles are like that, and will leave a more complete tasting note.
Also noticed sugar crystals in glasses and bottle when finished. Will try to find out the residual sugar for this vintage.
