Deep with little age. Cherries on nose and palate with some herbiness. Palate slightly austere but good balance. Tannins firm but smooth. Little tertiary action at the moment.

This is good for the price. Agree with prior tasters that it’s ready to drink. Medium to light body, not one of your viscous southern Rhônes. And not to much barnyard. Cherries, very light tar if that makes sense.

Kirsch, kirsch and more kirsch is all over the place in this forward, medium bodied wine, that also serves up notes of thyme and pepper. This is already drinking well, so enjoy it while waiting for the 15 and 16 to develop.

Popped and sipped over the course of three days. It really smoothed out and got more floral and spicy and restrained by the third day. Showed rich black cherries on the nose, mixed with roasted herbs, coffee, eucalyptus, lots of lavender and leather. Smooth and vibrant with dusty tannins and medium acidity. Juicy red and black cherries and plums, nicely mixed with a host of beefy, spicy, pepper, leathery, earthy elements. Drinks nicely now, but I'd love to re-taste in like five years.

Vinturied into a decanter and let sit for 75 minutes. In the glass, it has a medium ruby-garnet in colour. Has a bright nose of sweet red berry skins and dusty garrigue. On the palate, there are red cherries and cherry pits along with a hint of kirsch and black raspberries and some sour candy trailing off; somewhat airy on the mid palate, yet tannic on the front. Medium bodied with a medium finish.

Lighter bodied CNdP.
Bright red fruit, lighter texture and enjoyable acidity.

Ditto Jeff Leve’s comments. A very easy to drink wine. Wish I had more bottles.

2 hour slow ox. Similar to the May 2017 tasting note, though am noticing a little bit more sour cherry candy taking over the profile.

Very clear Taste of abrikos and pear.
So interesting to try grapes like grenache blanc, roussane and clairette.

Nice CdP, good QPR. Didn’t take it long to open up. Drinking well now and I’ve nothing to add that would improve upon what others have written below.

With decent red berry fruit and a reasonable finish, this wine is nonetheless a tad bit harsh to my tastes. The second of two, with similar results.
