  • This is a difficult wine to judge at this point in time. On the one hand, it has a purity and intensity that are quite intriguing: this is classic New World Sauvignon Blanc with the volume turned up (without sacrificing typicity). On the other hand, the wine is tightly coiled and grassy, in a way that makes it hard to enjoy, at least at the moment.

    Light yellow in color, medium in body, nose of grapefruit, ocean air, and wet grass. Dense tastes of brioche, green apple, orange rind, and saline, with an acidic, chalky, and almost austere finish. 13.9% alcohol. I think this wine needs another year or two in order to unwind, since it is more impressive than enjoyable at the moment. There is a lot of potential here, but it's not ready yet.
