2015 Domaine Bellevue Touraine Rosé

Community Tasting Notes

Community Tasting Notes (2) Median Score: 87 points

  • Solid rose here in the $12-$15 category. Light watermelon/dark copper color. Smells zesty and bright with rose hips, nettle, white flowers, white cherries and wild strawberries. Medium-bodied, pleasant creaminess but vibrant acidity. Fresh strawberry, white cherry and McIntosh apple flavors are mixed with saline, white pepper, nettle and tobacco. Some plumpness and deliciousness, but it stays crisp and clean. Perfect antidote to mid-Atlantic August humidity.

  • Love it just as much as the '14

ripe, super fruity, and a dash of RS.

fuller bodied and lush texture with refreshing but balanced acid.

nose and palate of candied melon, ripe strawberry, cinnamon apple, cotton candy, and tangy green herbs. Great depth and concentration for the under $15 price.

the dash of sweetness softens the wine but isn't cheap or cloying.
