  • needs air. after an 1 hr the musty, bretty aroma blow off. Interesting mix of dusty cherry, with pot pourie, spices, and "stuff". Should be paired with food.

  • P&p. Smells very much like cherry juice, but vinous and earthy, and with a bit of sappy green plants/herbs. With an hour+ of air in the bottle it gets increasingly spicy, floral, and generally pungent. Tasty, juicy cherry, with fairly tart, almost shrill acidity, along with some mouthdrying tannins; quite dry, and slightly bitter. Seems made for food (pork? duck?), but perfectly enjoyable on its own, especially once it has some air. I like it.

Day 2 (stored refrigerated in a half-bottle): Improved from day 1, and drinking very well. More cohesive and smooth, without losing any character or freshness.
