Excellent pairing with Thai red curry. Plenty sweet to combat the spice but also with plenty of acidity to balance. Developing nicely as well. No rush, but I've sadly only got one of these left.

Agree with other notes: off dry which worked well with the spices of the seafood gumbo I paired it with. Crowd pleasing wine, expressive nose, nice acidity and accessible fruit.

High quality grapes, just not dry enough for my tastes. I'd consider this to be more off-dry. If you're into this style, I think its a really good wine for <$20!

2015 German Rieslings; 3/28/2018-3/29/2018 (Mark's): Light gold in color. The nose is tight with a minerality that emerges with air. On the palate, this has a hint of sweetness. Excellent balance. Some fruit (citrus and slight peach) emerge with air. Plenty of minerals though. Long finish. Always a great value, more true in 2015.

Day 1: Subtle nose. Not much going on. Picking up a little lemon and dust. The palate is much better with tropical fruit, slate, dust and orange marmalade. Medium plus finish and good acidity. If I was rated the nose it would be mid to low 80s but the palate makes up for it in spades. Should be interesting on this one day 2 and 3. 89 points Day 2: Nose is offering more. Tropical fruit, lemon and dust. Palate is more expressive too. Nice fruits and mineral elements. Vibrant wine. Better than day 1. 90 points Day 3: Little better. Palate is very similar to day 2. This is a really well made Riesling from Nahe. For under $20 and 90 points solid!

Still so good. Still improving. Showing a nice, musky, feral note this bottle after several hours open. Good stuff. Should have bought more than two cases...

This was for the DRY. Light straw colour, offering an enticing nose of white flowers, gooseberry, slate, even a hint of smoke / graphite. The palate is superb. Unctuous but with oodles of acidity and freshness. Fantastic balance.
Bought a few of these at Mister Jiu's in San Francisco for a table full of non-Riesling drinkers, and all but one liked it. Kind of like Spyro Gyra for folks who don't get jazz; a bit of a Morning Dance in a bottle. Paired very well with asian quail, pork, mustard greens and squid/pork wontons, among other things. Slight sweetness on the front end balanced by some acidity at the back, just a basic well-crafted bottle of juice.

A touch of residual sweetness in the form of a honeyed, lemongrassy, sweet onion elixir makes this more suitable (for me) after a meal rather than during. Pretty well balanced with a bit of lemony brightness makes this a charming slurper at the end, or beginning!.. of the day. I'll try drinking this again with some fiercely spicey food.

Killer bottle of basic level riesling. Pleases the non geek looking for a sweeter wine and as well as the geek. Great nose of pineapple, some wet stones. very clean. A bit sugary on the nose in a good way. On the palate, great balance. Lovely texture. Deep. satisfying. I will need to get more.

Paired perfectly with Indian food. Great nose with salty lime, and floral touches. On the palate, good acidity, and RS enough to be perceptible, but balancing the acidity nicely. Very juicy wine with a clean finish. A touch of CO2 upon opening.

Damn, if this is indicative of 2015 in Germany... Just crazy drinkable, very good acid though not as crazy as 2010. Picked up more body on day 3. Dominant fruit was pear.

Dette er Dønnhoffs enkleste vin og likavel en skikkelig prisbombe. Her får man utrolig mye for pengene (NOK 125).

This wine is in precise balance, still very young. I assume this will gain at least 1 plus point with age. At this stage this is crazy drinkable, very fresh, piercing acidity, slate smokey minerality, warm. Great midpalate, good weight and volume. Great elegance, despite the youthful expressiveness the wine is still impeccably stylish. Entry level of Donnhoff, that would be easily some other producer's flagship. Stunning. Crazy QPR.

A little sweeter than expected, but nicely balanced. Hints of smoke, some grass, lemon, and a nice classic Riesling in the dry to off-dry range.

Impressive quality for a base wine and anyway very eonjoyable stuff.
This has an almost moselesque structure, is very primary and basically tastes like super-tasty and super-pure fresh grape.
Perfect balance, nice texture. No clue how it will age.
Hard to stop. Fair price at 10 EUR or so.
