P: MF, poss Med, body; Almost swtish frt on entry with some pucker mid palate, this pretty much resolving by the long, spicy, very slightly tangy finish, the ultimate sensation being almost one of swtness. Nicely balanced, this deserves 12-18 mos of cellaring, then a potential steal for Amarones. [My score takes into consideration the QPR of this vendor's VERY competitive $29.95.]

P: MF body; Almost swtish frt on front, structure kicking in early mid palate. Long, very slightly astringent finish with an intriguing bitterness. Approachable now (certainly with food), it would nonetheless benefit from a yr or 2 of cellaring. 91 pts WS & 89 pts Gilbert & Guillard [My score takes into consideration the QPR of this vendor's $29.95.]

Lots of Wines and Liquor with the neighbors (Our home): Pop and pour. This is good if not great but certainly drinks like an Amarone. Ruby in color. The nose has cherries, dark cherries, a slight roasted herb note and slight raisin. On the palate, this is dry. Not a ton of complexity but the fruit is good. Some medium tannins. Good acidity. Cherries and dried cherries. Nice finish. I think time helps it develop but very pleasant right now. Some upside.

This was fantastic! Earthy, fruity, thick, chewy. Fruitier than I expected. Dark berries. Baseball glove leather, deep, deep tannin. Magnificent!

Too acidic for an Amarone and not much body.

Tarry, dark berry nose with tomato leaf and cocoa notes. Rich and saturated palate; long, sweet-centred, chocolate/cherry truffle finish.

NEEDS time in the bottle. Could be interesting in 5 years. Now it's muted and underwhelming
