Tasted over 2 hrs and day 2 -nearly semi-translucent med red purple -mild funk slightly herbal wet stone -med acidity, light/med- weight pretty dollop of loose-knit black cherry candy with an earthy mineral base, tannins nearly resolved, decent length; picks up a bit more breadth and depth on day 2 -very pleasant and in the zone now, excellent Bourgogne that has become a little darker and less structured over the past 2 years; still lovely on day 2

Not much change from my last note. Sadly, this is my last bottle. Really good Bourgogne. Pretty spicy red fruit on the nose with cranberry, raspberry, cloves and cinnamon. In the mouth, linear and mineral with orange peel, more cranberries and rhubarb.

This is great Bourgogne. Pretty spicy red fruit on the nose. Cranberry, raspberry, cloves, cinnamon. Linear and mineral. Orange peel, more cranberries, rhubarb. I love it. I have been pouring money into the higher end stuff but I love these modest fresh wines!

Balanced, linear, lots of minerals. Lighter style. Light, glowing ruby color. Cherry blossoms on the nose with violets, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Dried cherries, strawberries, apple spice, rhubarb, tea, hints of blackberries, and dusty crushed rock on the finish. Drink now - 2024. Technical score: 89. Enjoyment score: 91.

I kind of wish I hadn't opened this bottle. It might need more time to age; it never quite came together. It's a basic-level Bourgogne so I didn't have super high expectations, but it is from an excellent maker, excellent purveyor, and I think in what's considered a decent vintage. Will look for more to bury.

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -nearly semi-translucent red violet -mild reduction blows off to reveal perfumed pretty red fruits wet stone and gentle spice -med acidity softens with air, lighter weight though texturally pleasant suppleness, mildly bitter linear streak accompanying the fairly simple black cherry fruit, soft med tannins and reasonable length -pleasant now with perhaps a year or two of upside, as is often the case with Guillemot wines this softens with adequate air

This is nice. More bright / dark contrast with an iron / mineral focused center. Bright sour cherry and strawberry notes. Elegant with a lightweight frame. Held up very well over two days.

Eye: Deep Red Nose: Cranberry, floral and mineral Palate: Tart cranberry, orange peel and some earth but mostly fruits with med + acidity and med + finish.
Overall this is very tart at the moment so probably does need some time to mellow out but shes elegant in youth and great qpr. Enjoy!

PNP. Cork intact. Color dark ruby. Nose has dusty black cherry. Swishing shows mostly acid structure but the fruit is dense and the acids are smooth. Tannin is soft. Sipping shows more fruit and density than I expect from a Bourgogne. Really quite nice, made even more so by the $13 price.

Gorgeous as usual. Ethereal tart cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and earth. The epitome of light, transparent Burgundy. Delicious and under appreciated.

Nice nose of sappy pine, lavender and cherry. Cherry cough drop flavor with a tannic finish. Would have guessed stems based on the tannin but the notes say all grapes are destemmed. Short finish but distinct

Strong wine for a basic Bourgogne, red fruited with balance, easy to enjoy and will probably develop well.

Drinking better than it did the last time i had it. The cranberry fruit that was dominant previously has turned into bright cherries. Enjoy!

Kind of simple and a bit to much of the tart cherry for me. Not bad but middle of the road Bourgogne.
