We drank with with another couple who had never had Abeja Viognier. They loved it; similiar to the reaction of many who taste it for the first time. I enjoyed it a lot but was not as taken with it as I was when I first tasted it. All in all a positive experience. This Viognier was well structured with concentrated fruit and a fair amount of oak. It had some of the pineapple and banana flavors but these were less pronounced than when the wine was young - possibly a good thing. It is a big wine and a great alternative to Chardonay.
