I den lette ende. Lav tannin og alkohol. Medium+ syre. Røde frugter og lidt peber og animalske noter. God kompleksitet. I næsen er man næsten i Bourgogne. I smagen er det mere som Sangiovese.

Forward, with loads of black raspberry, allspice, and garrigue. Light notes of smoked meat come to the surface late, adding complexity through the medium-long finish. Beautiful mouthfeel.

Not really a tasting note. Just a next day impression. Had the top three things I look for in a wine: nice fruit, good acidity, and complex earthy notes. Really a great wine, and probably capable of aging for a few more years.

In the glass purple with a hue a brown. Nice, fruity nose. The wine itself is relatively light, nice and pure fruit, smooth, with s moderate tannic/dry finish. This should be drunk up young for the nice fruit,

Decent Pape in that price range. Soft and easy to drink. Drank it on a hot summer night, so cooled it down for 20 min in a champagne cooler with ice, which tightens up the flavour. Dark red fruits, sweet, not a lot of fullness.

Nice bright garnet ruby color and a nose of raspberries and cherry, medium bodied with good acidity and nice bright red berry flavors. Tasting much like a top shelf Cote du Rhône and at $48/bt when for a few dollars more you can get their first label which is almost always excellent.

The nose is clean with a medium(+) intensity. There are well-defined aromas of red fruit (raspberry), pungent spice (white pepper, subtle liquorice), oak (subtle smoke), a bottle-age character (subtle leather), and a generic herbaceous note. The wine is developing.
On the palate, the wine is dry with medium(-) acidity, high alcohol, and medium body. The medium level tannins are ripe and dusty in nature. The flavours have a medium intensity and show notes of pungent spice (white pepper, liquorice), red fruit (subtle raspberry), and a bottle-age character (subtle leather). The finish has a medium(+) length.
This is a very good quality wine. The flavours are concentrated and have a great balance with the acidity and the alcohol. The dusty tannins have a reasonable balance with the acidity and complement the flavour profile. The subtle oak treatment does not interfere with the primary fruit. In its current state, the wine shows some complexity with primary, secondary, and developing tertiary characteristics. The wine is enjoyable and has a finish with great length.
The wine drinks well now, but has potential for further ageing. The fruit intensity is great, and the tannin and acid structure will support the wine as the tertiary notes continue to develop.
I fell in love with this bottle. Lots of depth and a perfect body that was delicate, but enough back bone to stand up to the food we were eating. Opened up wonderfully and a delight to drink.

Lovely nose - Spicy, fragrant, raspberry, kirsch, as it sits in the glass it becomes more earthly, a good telegramme, solid week day wine, easy drinking, serves its purpose

Negociants Australia Portfolio Tasting 2017: Smoke, slate, bacon and some pretty florals. Moderate fruit weight on the palate, this is relatively light on its feet. 5 years would serve it pretty well, but it is nicely approachable now.

Light in style, easy drinking, forward, medium bodied, softly textured and with, sweet, red cherries and raspberries from start to finish, this is fully ready for near term drinking. This would be a nice find on a restaurant list.

Really nice. More medium bodied and sophisticated than hedonistic. Nose of raspberries, minerals and crushed rock. Med bodied mouthfeel, tightly wound, well integrated tannins - flavors of raspberries, candied red fruits, crushed rock, herbs and pepper. Heat on the back but still well balanced and very pleasing.

barely makes 90, probably should be lower. nice chateauneuf-du-pape that got better with more air...but everything light--flavor complexity and especially the body...would characterize body as light/medium and a little watery at times.

Strong lavender aroma complicated by notes of garrigue and roasted meat. Light to medium body with bright red berry flavors along with leather, dried herbs, smoked meat and baking spice. Surprisingly complex.

Dark, still a bit tight, but promising. Needs >2h decanting. 2nd day the wine had opened and showed some red fruit and spices. Better from 2018/2019.
