    Decanted into a plastic, cylindrical pitcher for ~ 30 mins; Private Preserve used after Day 1.

    N: Slightly closed; RIPE berries with notes of choc

    P: LM body; NICE, ALMOST swtish frt nicely balanced by acidity with a TOUCH of astringency which, to all intents & purposes, works its way out by the LONG, balanced, bitter swt choc finish. Should hold into at least EARLY '21, but likely @ its peak right now. Day 2: A bit tamer than yesterday, PROBABLY a better wine for most palates. 15.4% ABV;

    Overall, my EXC-, & a decent enough buy for the $25 which I pd for it when it was still available from Hughes. Gold Medal @ '16 Denver Int'l Wine Comp, and Gold Medal & 91 Pts @ '16 Sommelier Challenge.
