Picked up a bottle for $18 during PA clearance sale. A touch oxidized, which some people actually liked. To me this is on the decline. Interesting white but no need to buy any more.

WAID - Tercero Visit: Nose has a petroly, rubbery aspect that I don't love, but the palate is lovely, with an amazing balance of lush fruit and bright acidity. Quenching finish leaves me wanting more.

Was only left about an ounce! The result from coming home late from work. Good news was that it was a hit with my household.
Not too experienced with Grenache Blanc and really didn't know what to expect. This was a nice wine that had a M+ body and balanced with bright acidity. Pronounced green fruit was my biggest takeaway. Purchased at BD10

wine shop tasting with winemaker. Waxy, rich-bodied but great acidity giving lift. Flavors of apple skin and stone fruit, white peach, herbal, some florals particularly on nose with time. Still drinking very well, would be good with a summery fish entree. 92 pts

This is an excellent, serious white that needs a bit more age or to be eaten with food... right now, the oak is unfortunately a bit overpowering on both the nose and palate. Even so, the oak is not clumsy and it has enough balance and acid to give one confidence that it will integrate well. Electric acid, elderflower, kiwi, lime, honeycomb a bit of stone fruit and especially stone fruit pit bitterness. 14.2% but no flabbiness detected. 88 for now, with potential to be 91-92 in a few years as the oak mellows.

Falltacular 2018--some TNs (My House In The South OC): Opened yesterday, kept cool overnight under opened screw cap. Dig the light petrol in the aromatic. Pure, balanced, solid fruit core of what seems like a mix of melon, kiwi and some vivid acidity that lengthens the finish of the wine. The finish has the same spicy kiwi note that tingles for several seconds. This is medium weighted, with the edges lightly polished. Good stuff.

Enjoying the softness/wax of this wine...banana skin/raw almonds...ripe white fruits with “perceived” sweetness, yet it’s not, because of the lifted energized citrus acidity...subtle flint strike, petrol, white pepper spice. Persistent floral and spice finish...with an extra dose of LP(Larry passion). A sunshine sipper here!

By the glass pour at a restaurant (Otium in LA). Straw color. Nose some petrol, lemony, some wet rocks. Palate crisp, nice acidity, great citrus flavors, some salinity. Really nice richness and depth

I don't know how Larry does it - but his Grenache Blanc always has more body and flavor than most (almost reminiscent of a Roussanne, which he does very well also).

Rich pear fruit with spice accents make for a substantial and fresh impression. There's good palate depth and moderate length. I have not been much of a white Rhone/Ranger fan, but this is a wine that states a good case for its grape and Larry as a winemaker. Serve with more substantial white meat or pork dishes with flavorful preparations. There is more than enough here to work with a wide range of foods.

Tasted over 2 days - consistent throughout. This stimulating white is bursting with aroma and flavor. A distinct petrol note on the nose and palate along with some tropical fruit and other flavors I won't even try to identify. I did notice a slight bit of heat this go around. This can accompany very hearty meals if you're in the mood for a white without much chance of it getting overpowered. This white is mediocre when served cold, but let it warm to room temp and it really blossoms. If you're looking for a crisp, refreshing white, crack open something else. If you're looking for something to contemplate and focus on, this fits the bill.

The Grenache Blanc from Tercero has become a favorite white of mine. The 2014 was no exception. Nice citrus notes. More mellow than I remember previous versions, with some honey notes, but still had some nice acidity. Not as tart, green, and crisp as I remember. This version has lots of mouthfeel and length.

Great showing with Thanksgiving appetizers and by itself the following day. Expansive aromatics. On the palate, very flavorful, expressive and harmonious with depth and length, but not heavy. As with many other Tercero whites, drinks more like a fine red and shows more as it warms to room temp. I don't score many wines this high, but I couldn't see any reason not to bump this way up. Amazing white.

Beautiful ripe and juicy green fruit. Medium + body is that has weight but is balanced out with bright acidity.

Dang this is good wine. Nice body, touch of citrus, smooth but not buttery. The last of my Terceros - time for a visit to restock.

Crisp, fresh. Nice golden color. Had impressions of green-ness. Great wine with food, or on it's own - spanned the need.

Citrus notes with a nice line of acidity that made this pair very well with a rich, vegan Kofte.

The Taste Pilots, 2.0: Grenache Night (An Undisclosed Gem of a Private Room Somewhere in Buellton, CA): Lush and sweet, a touch flabby but as this was just bottled I have no doubt it will settle nicely. Drink 2016 - 2020.
